George V Records : Universal Sound Vision

It was Raymond Visan, the “ideas man” behind the George V group, who took the initiative of creating the George V Records label. The new label integrates innovative promotion and marketing techniques in a unique and unusual way. George V Records makes no secret of its global ambitions in terms of record creation, production and distribution.

George V Records objectives

George V Records is based on a simple idea: that of offering everyone the opportunity to enjoy the exceptional atmosphere created by the DJs in three of Paris’ leading (hottest, hippest) nightspots: the B*fly, Buddha-Bar and Barrio Latino. Three eclectic and universal musical styles – Latino rhythms, house and world music – make up the background and substance of the label’s two-level production: recordings of original compositions and world-class compilations.

The current priority of George V Records lies in the area of original musical compositions and the label is continuing its strategy of signing on promising young artists. However the label remains faithful to the original concept behind its success: high-end compilations…

GEORGE V is also a recording company that produces and co-produces new musical compositions by authors and composers. GEORGE V RECORDS is developing its own catalogue of original music and has produced works such as "Crystal Heart", "Marie", and "Joia", which were integrated into the Chill Out In Paris, Buddha Bar, Barrio Latino compilations, among others.
